NMLP's policy on valuable books in a donation: honest disclosure of what gets found and where it goes.
- What NMLP keeps and resells: any book with current Amazon, eBay, AbeBooks, or specialty market demand. NMLP sorts, lists, ships, and the resale revenue funds the free pickups. NMLP never buys books and never pays donors — a donation is a donation. This is the operating model.
- What NMLP sets aside for the family: letters, photos, and family Bibles with handwritten records found in the boxes are set aside and offered back. Anything you want to keep, pull out before pickup — nothing outside the donation pile leaves with me.
- If the donor wants to know later: NMLP keeps simple sort logs. Donate a batch of ten boxes, ask afterward what the standout items were and where they went, and NMLP can give you that detail.
Every box is sorted by hand at the warehouse; rare books are researched before they're listed. Free pickup across the Albuquerque metro — 505-250-3804.
