I take books in any condition — water-damaged, yellowed, musty, torn covers, missing pages, written in, highlighted. Readable books get resold or donated. Damaged books get recycled. Nothing goes to the landfill.
▶ Do I need to box or sort my books?
No sorting needed. Bags, boxes, or just stacked on the porch — whatever works. I do all the sorting myself after pickup. If you want porch pickup while you're at work, just leave them outside and text me.

New Mexico Literacy Project has been a fantastic partner for Assistance League of Albuquerque. We are a thrift store that sells donated books and a percentage of these we are unable to use. We are able to recycle these through Josh which saves us hours of sorting and disposing every week. And they do not go to a landfill. Josh is reliable and professional and the free pickup has been a huge help. It saves our volunteers from hauling boxes of books. He comes by, loads up, and we get our space back.
